Biography

Donald Crawford brings 30 years of dedicated IT leadership to the College of Architecture, Planning & Design (APDesign) at K-State, where he has served since May 1997 in roles focused on delivering robust technology support for architecture, interior design, planning, and affiliated disciplines.

Core Responsibilities

Oversees APDesign’s office of IT, managing classroom technology, studio and lab systems, network infrastructure, software acquisition, and centrally supported platforms.

Supervises IT staff based in Seaton Hall, including administrators and analysts, ensuring responsive, student-focused technical support.

Coordinates systems, servers, security, and support services aligned with K-State’s strategic IT initiatives.

Honored with APDesign’s Distinguished Service Award in 2015 for exceptional leadership in information technology services.
