Biography
I studied German and French in an undergraduate liberal arts college, earned Master's degrees in German, Curriculum & Instruction and Library and Information Science, and a Ph.D. in German Studies from various Universities in the Southeastern USA (UKentucky, Louisisna State and USouth Florida). I have had grant-supported (Fulbright, etc.) opportunities for study and research in Germany, Austria, England, Korea, Japan, Quebec and the Yucatan, and have primary interests in intercultural study, digital teaching learning and research and creating and publishing digital humanities knowledge. I have served in US higher education since the early 1970's, teaching foreign languages (German and French), pedagogy / teacher-education, and have been a higher-ed library administrator for the last decade. I am presently Professor and Library Director at Providence College.
