The EDUCAUSE Enterprise IT Program asked four corporate members to share their advice about implementing customer relationship management systems in higher education, including critical features, required culture change, and privacy concerns that will need to be addressed for success.
Doug’s professional background is in higher education and information technology. He has worked with both undergraduate and graduate admission offices and more recently in application hosting and managed services. During his years in admission, Doug was introduced to Salesforce and Enrollment Rx CRM technology. This sparked an interest in the intersection of higher education with technology. Doug believes in empowering colleges to grow with the same tools available to businesses.
Doug enjoys creative writing, traveling with friends and family, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and trying as many craft breweries as is reasonably possible. He has earned Bachelor's degrees in English and History as well as a Masters of Business Administration, all from Saint Louis University.
