Biography

I am a PhD candidate in biotech with a focus on communicating complex technical topics to a general audience and using data to explain outcomes. I have received multiple grants for research and outreach funds over the years.

I created, funded, and implemented an outreach project addressing lack of biotechnology education in K-12, impacting over 1100 students and still growing. I coordinated 18 teachers to simultaneously conduct the same experiment in their classrooms.

I designed multiple graduate level courses and taught 5 different courses over 7 years. I run ExploringPlant.com and have developed educational iOS applications.
