Biography

Dr. Drumm McNaughton is an international strategic management pioneer, talent development innovator, and organization culture expert. He has stimulated transformation and propelled double-digit growth in a diverse set of industries from startups to Fortune 500 through innovative approaches to strategy and change, talent management, culture, and succession planning. Has had P&L responsibility in multiple industries. His change initiatives and counsel have resulted in over $500 million to organizations’ bottom line. 

He has lived overseas 19 years, and has extensive international work and travel experience (50+ countries).

His board service includes LIGS University (Chair, Nom/Gov Committee), Institute of Management Consultants USA (Chair, Vice Chair, Chair Nominating Committee, and Chair Executive/Operations Committee), International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (Board Secretary and Lead Director), Smarter Planet Enterprises, and Guild. 

His sample engagement roster includes Fortune 500 companies such as Dell Computer and DuPont; COO of two high tech startups; CEO of the US standards body for management consultants; King Saud, Chapman University, Central Michigan, EC-Council (CEO/CAO), Capella, and Trident University; Los Angeles Unified School District; American Board of Orthodontics and Tennessee Dental Association; US Air Force Reserve and US Navy; and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a Mission and Aircraft Commander for Navy reconnaissance aircraft, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

He has been recognized for excellence throughout his career, including been named Chair Emeritus, Fellow, and Life Member of the Institute of Management Consultants USA, and a Governance Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors.  

He earned his PhD and MA in Human & Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate Institute, and a BS in Physics from the U.S. Naval Academy.
