Biography

I currently serve as the Open Source Community Lead for the Common Education Data Standards. I have thirteen years of experience working with education data standards such as SIF, CEDS and Ed-Fi. I served the Oklahoma State Department of Education for over 8 years providing both business and technical analysis of their student data system and SLDS project. I was the principal architect in transforming the Oklahoma system from aggregate-based reporting to student level reporting. I'm experienced in communicating with non-technical program staff and technical development staff presenting the same message, but in their “language.”
