Dwight Fischer (retired 2017) was the Assistant Vice President & CIO at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he was responsible for all aspects strategic planning, operations and consulting around information technology, computing, telecom and network resources. Prior to that he was the CIO at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. Fischer received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University. He holds an MSE in counseling from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and is a graduate of the Executive MBA from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics from the University of New Hampshire.
Fischer is now a consulting with organizations and IT leaders on strategy, IT leadership and development.
