Biography
I serve as Vice President and Interim Chief Information Officer at the University of Oklahoma. Upon joining OU, I led a multi-year mainframe migration effort for the University, successfully completing the transition to PeopleSoft Human Resources and Financials Suites and the Banner Student Information System. I am currently acting as the Interim Chief Information Officer with a focus on strategic alignment, innovation and mentorship. In addition to my experience in Higher Education, I have extensive experience in the federal sector. I began my career in technology as an an intern within the Air Force PALACE Acquire Program eventually serving as telecommunications manager for the Unites States Air Force in Europe. I worked internationally for many years leading multiple tactical and strategic infrastructure projects across Europe and served as the liaison to the USAFE Communications Commander during the conflict in the Balkans. As a private sector consultant I conducted a comprehensive technology assessment for the Georgia World Congress Center and led a significant high availability networking initiative for an aircraft communications system.
