Biography

Ed Martin is the Deputy CIO for George Washington University, where he focuses on meeting the needs of the IT Infrastructure for a distributed academic, administrative, and research user community. Ed oversees Enterprise Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, Identity and Access Management Services, Web and Middleware Services, and Service and Contracts Management. Ed is a CISSP, and certified in ITIL v3 Foundations. Ed was formerly the Deputy CIO for American University, and the Vice President of Enterprise Network Services for CACI, Inc. Ed completed his MBA from the University of Maryland in August 2005, where he also earned a B.S. in Information Systems Management. In 2012, Ed was selected as a Premier 100 IT Leader by Computerworld.
