Edward Kelty is the Vice Chancellor / CIO (Retired) at the Maricopa Community College District Office. The District Information Technology Services (ITS) Division is a centralized IT area responsible for technology support for at the Maricopa District office in the area of; Security, reporting, data warehouse, desktop support, networking, programming, training, project management, and process improvement. ITS is also responsible for district wide support of systems such as: Security ERPs (SIS, Budget, Finance, and Human Resources), identity management, WAN, and governance and communication. Maricopa has over 250,000 students and 13,000 employees. Edward has worked in education for 30 years. His roles included being an adjunct faculty member in Electronics, Computer Information Systems and Business Personal Computers, a Trainer, Network tech, programmer, Desktop support, and CIO. He holds a Masters degree in Educational leadership, two Bachelor degrees, one in Management and the other in Communication, an AAS in Micro-Electronics.
