Biography
I am an Associate Instructional Designer at the University of Central Florida’s Center for Distributed Learning, where I support faculty through pedagogical consultations, online course quality reviews, faculty development, open educational resources, and research-informed instructional design strategies. My background combines instructional design, learning technologies, multimedia development, faculty support, and applied research across higher education contexts in the United States and Mexico. I hold a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from UCF, an M.A. in Learning Technologies, and a B.S. in Information Technologies. My professional interests include online and blended learning, course quality, faculty development, generative AI in education, multimedia learning, learning analytics, open educational practices, and culturally responsive digital learning environments. I am especially interested in connecting research and practice to design meaningful and effective learning experiences for faculty and students.
