Eileen Johnson
Biography
Eileen Sylvan Johnson is the Program Manager for the Environmental Studies Program at Bowdoin College. In this capacity, she assists Environmental Studies faculty in the integration of GIS into ES courses and serves as a lab instructor for the program's Introduction to GIS course as well as facilitating service learning components within Environmental Studies courses. She is formerly an instructor in the Environmental Technology program at Southern Maine Technical College where she created a GIS lab and developed and taught the first GIS course. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Maine GIS Users Group. She has a Master's Degree in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University.EDUCAUSE Presentations
