Elena Marusak is a member of the Educational Technology Services team at Chapman University, where she also taught French in the Department of World Languages and Cultures for four years. Before coming to Chapman, Elena supported the development and delivery of hybrid and online courses at Carnegie Mellon University. She helped faculty bring their pedagogical vision to life in the online learning environment and helped make online courses the best that they could be for teaching and learning by performing quality assurance and troubleshooting issues. She also supported assessment and data-driven instruction by playing a key role in the development and implementation of a learning objectives dashboard. She is a contributing author for three language courses that are available for teachers and learners online through the Open Learning Initiative.
