Eleta Exline

Biography

Eleta Exline is an Associate Professor and Scholarly Communication Librarian at the University of New Hampshire. She oversees the UNH Scholarly Communication, Digital Collections, and Digital Scholarship Initiatives, and advocates for Open Access publishing, Open Educational Resources, and other varieties of "open" content and practices. Eleta is currently PI on the IMLS funded PLACE Project, which is developing a geospatial search interface for Fedora repositories. She presents regularly at regional and national conferences, was President of the ACRL New England Chapter in 2013-2014, and is past-chair of ACRL Chapters Council. Previously, she worked as a private archivist for an internationally known metal sculptor. Eleta earned her MS LIS from Syracuse University and an MA in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire.
