Biography

Hola, originally from western Guatemala, I am a 2007 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, School of Information. I worked for 15 years at Miami University Libraries. I'm currently the Associate Dean for Teaching, Learning, and Research (TLR) at Clemson University Libraries. The vision of the TLR division is: to be an enterprising and collaborative team implementing innovative services that support experiential learning and ground-breaking research. The TLR division is an engaging and collaborative team, providing innovative and inclusive environments for teaching, learning, collaboration, and knowledge dissemination and creation. In the AD role, I provide leadership for the TLR division and together we support library services including information/digital literacy, data and research services, open educational resources, scholarly communications, digital scholarship, creative technologies, experiential learning, emerging technologies, and much more.
