Biography
Ellie is the Lead Workshop Developer for the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning's Canvas workshop series. In addition to supporting instructor implementation of Canvas, Ellie's interests include instructional uses of social media, teaching with Wikipedia, website development, and experiential education. Before joining the CITL, Ellie served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, where she worked on garden and well projects in a rural, semi-nomadic village. She holds a self-designed Interdisciplinary B.A. in Narrative Theory from Beloit College and is finishing up her M.S. in Outdoor Recreation and Therapeutic Outdoor Programs at Indiana University.
