Biography
Elissa Hall, EdD, is a leader in medical education innovation at Mayo Clinic, where she serves as Scientific Director, Advanced Digital Education, Co-Director, Mayo Clinic Harper Family Foundation Artificial Intelligence Education in Medicine Program, and Assistant Professor - Medical Education. She is widely recognized for advancing digital learning strategies and integrating emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence—into health professions education and workforce learning.
Dr. Hall also serves as Chair, Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Educational Affairs (GEA), where she helps shape national priorities in medical education. She is a Harvard Macy Institute Course Director, a global community focused on advancing innovation in health professions education, further extending her impact through international collaboration and professional development. Her work focuses on building collaborative ecosystems, developing “fusion skills” for the future workforce, and driving transformation in how clinicians are trained and continuously educated.
