Beth Mulherrin

Biography

Beth Mulherrin is the assistant vice provost for student success at University of Maryland University College (UMUC). Along with her colleagues in the Center for Innovation in Learning and Student Success, Beth coordinates initiatives to evaluate and scale innovative academic and student support models. She oversees academic support services such as tutoring and mentoring, student development programs for at-risk populations, an online writing center, and orientation and research skills courses. Beth’s 27 years’ of experience in higher education includes providing frontline public service to students and faculty, curriculum development, institutional assessment, strategic planning, grant writing, and managing large-scale projects.
