Biography

I began my journey at Wake Technical Community College in December 2014 and as of 2025, have made my way up to Manager or eLearning Support. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Technology Systems.

I’ve been teaching online since 2008, using platforms like Blackboard and others to deliver courses in computer applications, management information systems, leadership, and social media. I genuinely enjoy exploring new technologies and tools that can enhance the online learning experience for both students and instructors. I’m EPIC certified and have earned both the Quality Matters Teaching Online Certificate and the Quality Matters Peer Reviewer Certificate.

In addition to my work at Wake Tech, I served as President of the Executive Board for the North Carolina Community College Association for Distance Learning (NC3ADL). I’m passionate about supporting faculty, improving digital learning environments, and helping others grow through professional development and collaboration.
