Emma-Jane Alexander
Biography
With 24 years’ experience in higher education based around visualization, virtual reality, and high performance computing, Emma-Jane brings a blend of strategic, technical, and creative experience to conversations. Emma-Jane completed her BSc(Hons) Visualization at the University of Teesside, and her Executive MBA at Hull University (both UK). Having run 3D Visualization Center's in Europe and the US (and recently moved over to the private sector), Emma-Jane has an aptitude for successful liaison between technical teams and multidisciplinary end users, building trust, nurturing relationships, securing funding, and establishing collaborative ways of working. Collaboration focused, and with research interests in the leadership of digital transformation initiatives and return on investment in digital infrastructure. Emma-Jane is currently a doctoral student in the EdD Higher Education Administration program at the University of Wyoming, an avid life-long longer, and passionate about education. As well as being a doctoral student at UW, Emma-Jane is employed by technology company Mechdyne. In her spare time you'll find her pick-up truck camping in Wyoming, star gazing, and hanging out with her 2 daughters.
