Biography

Emmanuel Sylvestre is the Head of Centre for Teaching & Learning at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). After obtaining a PhD in Education Sciences at University Grenoble Alpes (France) in 2006, Emmanuel Sylvestre continued his professional career as a pedagogical advisor at the University Lyon 1(France) in 2008 and as a pedagogical advisor at the University of Lausanne in 2011. In 2012, he took charge of the Centre for Teaching & Learning. In his various functions, he assists teachers, pedagogical teams and the institution in adapting pedagogical practices in response to changes in the teaching context (changes in the number of students, their expectations, the cultural and socio-economic context, etc.).
