Biography

Eric Hoffman leads Moran Technology Consulting's Data and Analytics Practice, bringing over two decades of technology and data program management experience-- from strategic planning to execution. His background spans executive roles on both consulting and client sides, equipping him with a unique understanding of institutional challenges such as being able to articulate complex topics/needs, influence and secure institutional buy-in, and establishing implementation plans that balance long term objectives with near term business benefits. Eric thrives in working across cultures and personalities having managed projects across North America, Asia, Africa and Australia.  From his years of managing implementations, he has developed a passion for helping clients prepare for these projects through early and proactive risk mitigation strategies.  

Moran Technology Consulting's (MTC) Data and Analytics Practice focuses on three main competencies:

Data Advisory - We partner with clients to assess their data landscapes, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.  Our strategic guidance and actionable roadmaps enable institutions to develop data strategies that drive institutional objectives forward.Data Conversion - Recognizing that issues stemming from data conversion can derail ERP transformations, we offer preemptive planning and education services to mitigate these risks.  Our two-pronged approach of education and enablement sets institutions up for success, turning a common area of weakness into a project strength.Data Engineering - Our practice supplies skilled resources with data engineering capabilities to bolster implementation efforts for our clients.
