Eric Case

Biography

Eric Case has more than 15 years of leadership experience in Information Security and Network Management as a successful entrepreneur and a valued technology contributor to the IT and InfoSec communities. His competency in driving continuous improvement in Systems-Level Computing, Computer Networking and Information Security has gained him the reputation of a trusted technology advisor and accomplished security professional. His knowledge and expertise in Information Technology and Information Security positions him as a professional uniquely qualified to translate business drivers and needs to a technical audience and translate technical concepts to bottom line terminology that demystifies technology and proves its value as a partner to the business. Mr. Case has served as the Information Security Officer for the College of Engineering at The University of Arizona. In this capacity, he has proven his value as a strategist, change leader and driving force behind security improvements that safeguard data, ensure compliance and facilitate informed advancement towards organizational goals. As an entrepreneur, Eric has provided security-consulting services in context of legal proceedings while testifying as an expert since 1999. Earlier he served as President of The Cross Platform Digital Imaging (CPDI) Group, a company providing life-like graphics and animation for architects and engineers. In this role, Mr. Case steered the company through five profitable years while acting as the company's lead modeler and animator. Mr. Case is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in good standing, holds three certifications form Microsoft; four certifications form the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), an ITIL (v3) Foundation certification and is a certified QualysGuard Specialist. Eric is also an active speaker on topics such as incident response and password management.
