Biography

Eric Nambo is the IT Accessibility Coordinator at Portland State University. For the past 6 years, Eric has championed accessibility in higher education. Formative experiences include collaborating with peers to develop an accessibility certification program for distance learning professionals in Texas, interning at the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehab Services, leading a statewide initiative in Oregon to secure grant funding for creating online accessible learning environments, and co-managing captioning resources for all of the community colleges in Oregon. A native Texan, his commitment to digital equity has lead him to a fulfilling career in the Pacific Northwest.
