Biography

Erik R. Potzmann, B.A. is Senior Consultant for Moran’s Digital Identity & Security practice. Erik has extensive experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 management. Before Joining Moran, Erik excelled as a technical consultant, delivering customer focused solutions to help improve security and collaboration. He has a background working with many higher education customers of all sizes, from private institutions with only a few hundred students, to large Universities with 250,000 plus accounts. This background enables him to craft tailored technical solutions aligned with business strategies and requirements. Erik has several technical certifications, including ITIL version 3 Foundations, Microsoft MTA, VMWare VCA, and CompTIA A+. His bachelor's degree was granted by Michigan State University, in Telecommunications with a focus on Information Technology Management.

As a consultant, Erik has a strong focus on client satisfaction by forging strong relationships, enhancing internal processes, and developing client deliverables. Erik has designed and configured Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Active Directory solutions from end to end and is acutely aware of how to assess these systems to identify potential trouble areas or security concerns. Able to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions, Erik works diligently to deliver quality services informed by research and industry trends.
