BiographyErnest M. Pringle is the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and CIO at the University of South Carolina Aiken, where he provides strategic leadership and direction for all information technology (IT) services. That responsibility includes the planning, delivery and management of academic, administrative and research technology services, as well as campus-wide telephony and multimedia services for the University. Prior to joining the USCA leadership team, Vice Chancellor Pringle was the Assistant Dean for Information Technology at the University of South Carolina School of Law. Before that, he was Associate Director of Student Development and University Housing for Information Technology; network manager with the College of Hotel, Restaurant and Sport Management at USC; and a network operator with Policy Management Systems Corporation. Mr. Pringle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems and a Master of Public Administration degree, both from the University of South Carolina.
