Biography
Fiona Phillips is an early career researcher with an active interest in ICT and Music Education in K-12 and Higher Ed. Fiona is an active member of a Faculty Research Group who are designing and working with a virtual space in Second Life for the teaching and learning of the Arts in Education. Virtual Collaborative Environments in Higher Ed. are one area of inquiry, and using podcasts to facilitate compositional analysis is another. Fiona will complete her Masters in Arts in Education and will further her studies in the Early Childhood Education and ICT and composition: Using ICT to enhance the Musical mutterings and melodies of Young Children.
