Frances Alvarado-Albertorio

Biography

Dr. Frances Alvarado-Albertorio is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Initiatives & Engagement Librarian at Oklahoma State University, where she also serves as the Business Librarian.

With over 15 years of experience in higher education and special libraries, her research centers on essential topics for academic librarianship, specifically Information Behavior and Technology Integration to support learning. She is currently focused on the critical area of AI Ethics, alongside research into Generative AI, Digital/AI Literacies, and Metaliteracy. Dr. Alvarado-Albertorio is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic research and communication practices to advance the field.
