Francesco de Leo
Biography
Dr. de Leo is Director of Web and Emerging Technologies and Adjunct Professor at American University in Washington D.C. and Associate Director, International Representative for Europe, and Board of Directors of The George Washington University's Institute for Knowledge and Innovation (IKI). He is advisory committee representative to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), an international standards body governing the use and development of the Web. He received his BS, MS, and PhD from the George Washington University, Washington DC. In 2003, Dr. de Leo received the EDUCAUSE award for Excellence in Administrative Information Systems and the Association for Communication Technology Professionals (ACUTA) award for Institutional Excellence in Communication Technologies (as Director of Web Applications and Enterprise Data Management at The George Washington University).EDUCAUSE Presentations
