Biography

Frank J. Reda is an Associate Vice President for Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Frank has served Rutgers in various technical and leadership roles. Currently, Frank provides University-wide coordination of IT support services for the central Office of Information Technology. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget planning and management, enterprise device management, IT service management, software licensing and communications. Frank participated in the planning of a distributed computing support model at Rutgers, as well as, a PC Purchasing model that leveraged the buying power of the University to offer standardized hardware and software at greatly reduced cost to University departments. In his role as Deputy CIO, Frank coordinates service and support offerings across the four universities that comprise Rutgers.
