Franz Kurfess
Biography
Franz Kurfess teaches courses in Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Management, User-Centered Design, and other areas of computer science at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. His research is focused on the effective use of knowledge by humans, and how computers can offer better support for this. In several of his classes over the last few years, students worked on design and usability issues for the Learning Commons effort at Cal Poly.EDUCAUSE Presentations
