Biography
I serve in a dual role in Connecticut College’s merged Information Services (IS) organization. As research and instruction librarian, I am responsible for teaching workshops, reference and research consultations, collection development, and liaison work with the English and Film departments; as the special projects coordinator for IS, I lead institutional research and communication projects, including the twice-annual IS newsletter, the annual report, an annual major objectives document and surveys such as MISO. I hold an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Long Island University, an M.A. in Religious Studies from New York University and a B.A. in English and Drama from Franklin & Marshall College. Prior to assuming my role with Connecticut College, I worked as an adjunct reference and instruction librarian at New York University’s Bobst Library. I also worked for more than a decade as an editor and writer in the trade and educational publishing fields.EDUCAUSE Presentations
