Biography
Gary Kidney is the Deputy CIO for Academic IT Solutions at Yale University. His career in academic computing began at the Maricopa County Community College District and included stop overs at Santa Monica College, University of Houston-Clear Lake, and University of Maryland-University, and Rice University. His Ed.D. degree is from University of Houston and he is an alumni of Arizona State University. His most recent publication is a book chapter "Contemporary Issues Facing Distance Educators: An eLearning Perspective"; in Dr. Gary Anglin's Instructional Technology: Past, Present, and Future, 3rd edition (2011). Since then he's been writing in his original academic field of history.
