Biography

I believe in the transforming power of education and have a passion to empower learning through technology. I currently am part of the Colorado State University College of Engineering, where I serve as a Computer Support Specialist. I began my career in at Ohio State in 1993 in technical services and support, and have gradually grown to believe that formal education is a basic human right. Through my twelve-year association with EDUCAUSE from 1997 - 2009 I came to appreciate the challenges facing higher education and look to help address these challenges. I worked as a Product Manager for Pearson in their eCollege and Schoolnet divisions. Projects included integrated and distributed data for learning systems, and the development of an Instruction Improvement System within the context of K-12 education. I have lived and worked in Colorado for 18+ years.
