Gary Pavlechko is the director of Teaching Technology in the Office of Teaching & Learning Advancement. Since arriving at Ball State in 1990, he has been a university instructional designer, the director of the Center for Teaching Technology, and director for teaching technology in the Office of Teaching & Learning Advancement. In addition to his administrative duties, Gary teaches courses in teacher education. He also has been a grant reviewer for numerous state and federal grant programs focusing on instructional technology K through higher education and educational programs that support the development of underserved populations. Before Ball State University, Gary was an elementary school teacher in State College, Pennsylvania. He earned a Masters degree in curriculum and instruction, with an emphasis in the management of instructional systems from Penn State, and a Bachelors degree in education at Adrian College.
