Gavan P.L. Watson joined Memorial University (St. John’s, NL) in November 2018 as Director, Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning and Associate Vice President, Teaching and Learning. With an earned PhD in Environmental Education from York University (Toronto, ON), Dr. Watson is published in the fields of Environmental Education, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and Technology-enhanced Learning. His research interests include the scholarship of educational development practice, free-choice environmental learning, curriculum development in higher education and the role of technology in supporting University instructional practices.
