Biography
Geetha has 20 years professional experience in the information technology field including project management, data and systems integration, systems analysis & design, database design, programming, web site development, and technical support.
Geetha is currently employed at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine as the Director of the Business Excellence Initiative. Previously, she served as Chief Information Officer and Director of Operations for UCLA's Corporate Financial Services. At UNLV, Geetha served as Executive Director of Student Affairs Technology from 2007 to 2011, Director of IT at the Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach from 2003 to 2007, and Systems Analyst/Programmer from 1998 to 2002.
Geetha earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at UNLV in December 2012. She became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2005, and possesses a master's degree in Public Administration from UNLV. In addition, Geetha earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a major in Management Information Systems from Pace University - New York City campus.
