Biography

Hyunjin Eugene Cho, JD – Senior Manager, CISSP, CCSP, CIPP/US, CIPT, FIP, and CYBER-AB RPA.  Gene is a well-credentialed attorney with a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in physics from Northern Illinois University, and Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law Scool, leading the CDW Data Privacy practice.  In addition, Mr. Cho has a significant IT architecture, security, policy development, and governance background, with a career in large scale enterprise IT systems that spans over 25 years.

Gene is the co-vice chair of the American Bar Association's Section on Civil Rights and Social Justice's, Privacy and Information Protection Commitee where he assist i policy development and educating attornes and others on privacy and information protection.  Gene has consulted legislators at the state level on the current state of privacy legislation globally.
