Biography

Geoffrey Cirullo is currently the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Stanislaus State University. He also is Project Management Professional Certified. In past years he has been the Chief Technology Officer, Infrastructure Director, Networking Director, Computer Operations Director and Director of Administrative Information Systems. Prior to working in Education, Geoffrey worked at Hewlett Packard Company as a Global Information Technology Manager. Geoffrey is a member of the Project Management Institute, Wine Country Chapter. He holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Colorado State University. Also, he has been a faculty member, a software developer, a systems administrator, Little League President, IT Consultant, and a project manager.

During his career he has experienced massive job layoffs during recessions, outsourcing of jobs offshore, and pushed though some very personal career challenges and personal challenges while maintaining a family first mantra. He has studied organizations and how to have everyone be successful in an organization, successfully using it transform IT departments and influence Campus if not system wide thinking. 

He understands hard wook, dedication, and commitment to making ideas and concepts reality.
