George Mathew
Biography
George Mathew is the Chief Technology Officer for Goodwin College in Drexel University. In this capacity he also directs the software development efforts for 'The Math Forum', a leading online community for math education. Prior to joining Goodwin College, he was the Chief Technology Architect for Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, one of the first comprehensive cancer centers in the nation. Mathew holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Temple University, a master's in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and CISSP certification. His main research interests are Collaboration Technologies, Data Mining Techniques for Information Security and Distributed Systems (including grids & clouds). He is a lifetime member of ACM and senior member of IEEE. Mathew is the recipient of the 2014 Benjamin Franklin Key Award from IEEE Philadelphia section.EDUCAUSE Presentations
