Gerri Maxwell

Biography

Gerri M. Maxwell, an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling at Texas A&M–Kingsville, received her doctorate from Texas A&M–College Station in 2004. She has worked as an award-winning educator and administrator for nearly 30 years, garnering millions of dollars in grant funding at the university and public school levels to support initiatives targeting high-need schools. Her research interests include leadership, school reform (particularly, technology as a driver for school reform), professional learning communities, and qualitative research methodologies. She was an American Educational Research Association David L. Clark Seminar Scholar in 2004.
