Gib Sawtelle

Biography

Gib received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Texas A&M University and has managed training operations for the U.S. military and a Business Week “Top 100” Small Business. He was also the senior training and organizational development specialist for Texas A&M University where he provided management training and organizational development consultation support to the University’s departments. Currently, he directs human resources operations for the Division of Information Technology at Texas A&M University. Gib has served on the faculty of numerous management development programs such as the Brazos Valley Medical Association’s Business Boot Camp, the Texas A&M University Leadership Institute, the Texas Association of Counties’ Human Resource Management Institute, the Texas A&M University Training & Development Certification Program, and the USDA Supervisory Academy. He was the founding president of the Brazos Valley chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. Gib is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and as a Certified Training Professional (CTP). He is also listed in editions of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
