Biography
Dr. Thorne is an instructional design consultant and the coordinator for the Student Educational Technology Assistants program (SETA) in the Institute for Teaching and Learning at UConn. Prior to her arrival at UConn in September, Dr. Thorne had served as principal in K-8 and K-4 schools. After beginning her career as an elementary school teacher in California, Dr. Thorne was an independent curriculum consultant and strategic facilitator for Connecticut's State Department of Education, various K-12 districts, private industry, and a variety of community collaboratives before returning fulltime to public education as an administrator.
