Glen Holmes

Biography

Glen Holmes is an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology and Fellow in the Center for Instructional Technology Solutions in Industry and Education at Virginia Tech. He also advises doctoral students and teaches graduate courses in web-based instruction, authoring languages, digital audio production, aural learning, and educational applications of databases.He is currently the Director for the Virtual Institute for Technology Advancement in Education for Historically Black Colleges and Universitities (VITAE-HBCU). Twelve HBCUs in a 5-state region (Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, and West Virginia) and Virginia Tech comprise the group. The consortium was most recently funded with a $1M dollar grant from the AT&T Learning Network Foundation.
