Biography

I worked at Northwestern University beginning in 1981 at the Academic Computing Center as a secretary. While at Northwestern for 13 years, I was promoted to work in the Controller's office as the Coordinator for the Accounting System. While in that position, we implemented an automated budget system, a Grants proposal system, and built a custom front-end for electronic ordering and payments in conjunction with American Management Systems. I moved to the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1994 and worked as Director of Systems for the Urbana Campus Business Office. In that capacity I managed the network infrastructure, production support, and new development for the Business Office on the Urbana Campus. Through restructuring, I am now the Director of Program Support for the Springfield, Urbana, and Chicago Campuses. My responsibilities include, business modeling and requirements analysis, project prioritization, project management, and staff development.
