Biography
Dr. Goran Ivo Marinovic's strong academic and professional background positions him well to lead this research on displacement, informal inhabitation, and urban adaptation. With a PhD from Seoul National University focusing on incremental housing, he has demonstrated expertise in examining self-built dwellings and bottom-up urban transformations. His academic career spans multiple institutions, including the American University of Beirut, Wenzhou-Kean University, and Keimyung University, where he has taught courses on urban design, architectural theory, and research methodology, directly aligning with the proposed study’s themes.
