BiographyI left the corporate environment in 2007 with a desire to make a difference in the not-for-profit sector. In that spirit, I joined the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management as Vice President of Information Technology, with the intent to help students and faculty accomplish their educational objectives in a rapidly changing educational environment. Under my term, the School moved from exclusively face-to-face courses to a full portfolio of face-to-face and online programs, including a broadening of our market and programs. I was appointed to the additional position of Vice President of Research, Development, and Innovation in July 2013, responsible for the strategic direction, ideation, market testing, and launch of the SchoolÃƒÂ¢Ã‚Â€Ã‚Â™s new educational programs and solutions.
As a partner at Hewitt Associates, I helped a people-oriented employer meet its vision of ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚Â€Ã‚Âœmaking the world a better place to work.ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚Â€Ã‚Â I filled a number of ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚Â€Ã‚ÂœVice President in Information SystemsÃƒÂ¢Ã‚Â€Ã‚Â roles, helped start a payroll business in China, led the IT-based client relationships for a new HR Business Process Outsourcing business, introduced of a number of innovative technologies which enabled a growing business to serve its clients with higher quality and value, and held global accountability for technology ranging from smart phones to mainframes, databases, middleware, and collaboration ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚Â€Ã‚Â“ managing people and technologies across 5 continents. I saved tens of millions of dollars through vendor contract negotiations and operating expense management. I also led the transformation of a technically-siloed organization into a service-oriented division committed to providing professional services to its business partners.
