Greg Kozak

I left the corporate environment in 2007 with a desire to make a difference in the not-for-profit sector. In that spirit, I joined the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management as Vice President of Information Technology, with the intent to help students and faculty accomplish their educational objectives in a rapidly changing educational environment. Under my term, the School moved from exclusively face-to-face courses to a full portfolio of face-to-face and online programs, including a broadening of our market and programs. I was appointed to the additional position of Vice President of Research, Development, and Innovation in July 2013, responsible for the strategic direction, ideation, market testing, and launch of the School’s new educational programs and solutions. As a partner at Hewitt Associates, I helped a people-oriented employer meet its vision of “making the world a better place to work.” I filled a number of “Vice President in Information Systems” roles, helped start a payroll business in China, led the IT-based client relationships for a new HR Business Process Outsourcing business, introduced of a number of innovative technologies which enabled a growing business to serve its clients with higher quality and value, and held global accountability for technology ranging from smart phones to mainframes, databases, middleware, and collaboration – managing people and technologies across 5 continents. I saved tens of millions of dollars through vendor contract negotiations and operating expense management. I also led the transformation of a technically-siloed organization into a service-oriented division committed to providing professional services to its business partners.
