Gregory A. Mitchell is Director of Libraries at Texas A&M University - Commerce. From 2002-2006, he was Assistant Director for Resource Management at University of Texas - Pan American. Prior to moving to Texas, Mr. Mitchell worked in both public and technical services management positions for ten years at three different universities in Kentucky, where he received his MLS (University of Kentucky) in 1992, and a MA in Higer Education (Morehead State University) in 2001. Prior to his career in higher education, Mr. Mitchell worked in product management for a Fortune 500 corporation in the Chicago area. He maintains an active interest in the role that technology continues to play in the transformation of academic libraries.
