Gretta Kellogg
Biography
As the Assistant Director for the Center for AI & ML to Industry (AIMI) at the Penn State Institute for Computational & Data Sciences, my background and contributions are in High Performance Computing architecture, open science data curation and accessible reproducible scientific software development. I bring 15 years of program management experience in life sciences and IT program management, after a career of more than a decade in technical roles for Enterprise IT. My core competencies include developing and maintaining large-scale IT infrastructures and research collaborations, building and leading cross-functional teams, and facilitating industry-sponsored programs at the intersection of various disciplines. As a first-generation American, college student, and under-represented minority woman in computing, and parent of a child with a disability, I strongly promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) opportunities for students and colleagues, having successfully mentored several dozen mentees.
