Biography
Grover Hibberd retired as Associate Vice President for Information Technology Services for Georgetown College on May 1, 2013. He was responsible for strategic planning for technology applications and services for computing, networking, telecommunications, video, and help desk services in support of academic and administrative offices. Mr. Hibberd served Georgetown College from 1992 to May 1, 2013.
Prior to his arrival at Georgetown College, Mr. Hibberd was Director for Academic Computing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida and prior to that Manager of Support Services at the University of Louisville. His professional background also includes working with manufacturing information systems, production management, and inventory control.
Mr. Hibberds community involvements include Past President Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce, Vice President for Communications & Marketing for the Chamber of Commerce, Georgetown/Scott County Vision 2020 team (community planning organization for the year 2020), Chair Leadership Central Kentucky Board of Directors, and Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary for the Elkhorn Glen Homeowners Association.
Mr. Hibberd has a M.B.A. from American International College, an M.E. from Northcentral University, and a B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University.
